Scyther

The flavor text on the card reads: "As Scyther fights more and more battles, its scythes become sharper and sharper. With a single slice, Scyther can fell a massive tree." Pokédex entries from this era are short and often quirky, written by the original Japanese localization team for a specific stat-block layout that no longer exists in modern cards.

A Bug-Flying mantis Pokémon with sharp arm blades. Jungle holo Scyther was tournament-strong at release. Its 70 HP basic stats with a low-cost Slash attack made it dominant in early competitive play, which means high-grade survivors are scarce.

Crown Zenith shipped in Holofoil, Reverse Holo, V, VSTAR, and the Galarian Gallery alternate-art subset. The set was sold only in Elite Trainer Box and tin product, never in standard booster packs, which gives sealed Crown Zenith product a different supply-and-demand profile from the rest of the SWSH era.

Modern Commons grade easily and trade thinly in graded condition. Raw pack-fresh copies are the practical buy for set completion. PSA 10 submissions on a Common from a modern set rarely return enough premium over raw to justify the service fee.

Raw copies of this card are inexpensive enough that the grading math rarely justifies submission unless you have a clearly pack-fresh example. For set completionists, picking up a clean raw copy and sleeving it is the practical move.
