Steelix sits at #150 in Mega Evolution, released in September 2025. Mega Evolution is part of the modern English Pokémon TCG era and uses the standard contemporary card frame and rarity tiers. In the games, Steelix evolves from Onix, which makes it a late-stage card in the line.
