What the analysis contains
For each card and grade, the analysis answers three questions: where the price is today and how it moved over the last 30, 90, and 365 days; which specific sales (with dates and venues) drove the move; and what would have to happen for the trend to continue or break.
- Current price with the direction of the last 90-day move.
- A named sample of the comps that drove the move (eBay listing IDs are linked).
- Volume signal: whether the move came from many sales or a few outliers.
- A forward-looking note: what to watch in the next 30 days.
Where it is honest about not knowing
Low-volume cards get a different read. If a 1st Edition variant only has three recorded sales in the last year, the analysis will say so, and will tell you not to put weight on a directional read. Most price-tracking apps paper over that. We do not. The trust collapses the moment a model invents momentum out of two sales.
Refresh cadence
The analysis re-runs daily for cards with active markets and weekly for slower ones. If a single big sale pulls the average, it gets called out in the next refresh. Binder Pro subscribers get the analysis on every card; the free tier gets it on Base Set holos, the top 25 most-watched cards in each set, and any card you have personally tracked.
What it does not do
It is not a buy or sell signal. It is a written summary of what already happened, with a careful note on what might happen next. We do not predict prices and we do not generate recommendations to trade. Trade decisions are yours; the analysis is the briefing.
