The set runs 66 cards. The Johto Legendaries (Ho-Oh, Suicune, Raikou) anchor the standard holo run. The Shining cards added a new dimension to vintage chasing.
Neo Revelation shipped in 1st Edition, Unlimited, and the new Shining variant. Shining cards are separate slots, not alternate prints.
Shining cards use a different holo pattern from standard holos and are visually distinct. They are pulled at a much lower rate than standard holos.
Shining Magikarp and Shining Gyarados are the two most-collected Shinings. The Magikarp is sentimental favorite; the Gyarados is the rarer pull. Both have appreciated dramatically as the Shining tier has gained collector recognition.
